Friends of Cavendish

Cavendish High Academy is a very special school for children and young people, we also have fantastic partners within the community that help us to raise money for those extra special things.

Our charity, The Friends Of Cavendish, was formed when the school first opened in 1978 and we are really fortunate to have people who raise money with us and on our behalf. All the money is spent on extra special things ranging from trips out to a new hydrotherapy pool.

Our School motto is "Inclusion through Participation" and we are proud that fund raising is through our partners and friends.

We want to be part of the community and fund raising helps us to extend our friendship with others.

In the last few years the school has been raising money for our own cyber cafe and a refit of our outdated Hydrotherapy pool. We are very grateful that the whole community and especially ex-pupils rallied round to help us.

We now have a fantastic new Cyber Cafe and newly refitted Hydrotherapy Pool, a particular thanks to the "Jolly Boys" who have their own page to follow their extra special exploits!

Thank you so much for supporting us and we really look forward to updating you on our next fund raiser soon.

Giving a bit

This is an entirely free service for your school & your supporters, funded by the 2,500 retailer partners we work with. Shoppers can actually save money by using our exclusive online discount codes.

Once registered, use our free resources to ask your school supporter’s to join givingabit.com & support you. Every time they visit the shops via givingabit.com a % of their total basket spend is donated to you – paid for by the retailer, not the shopper. Find out more here:
