Whole School Reverse Advent Calendar

Reverse Advent Calendar

KS4 as part of their Fashion and Enterprise projects have used old, ripped clothes in a number of different ways. One of the ways they have used the clothes is to make a reverse advent calendar to be used by the whole school.

Reverse advent calendars work by you filling them every day with with items that can then be taken to a food bank or charity in order to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time.

“Reverse advent calendars work by you filling them every day with items that can then be taken to a food bank or charity in order to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time. “

We would be grateful of any item donated but our students have contacted Runcorn and District foodbank to ask what is desperately needed at this time and have created a list below:

Sanitary products

Male and female toiletries

Biscuits

Tea / Coffee

Tinned foods

Pet foods

Long life milk

Tinned Puddings (Rice pudding. Custard)

Chocolate (We added chocolate, everybody loves chocolate at Christmas)

If you would like to fill one of the pockets on our reverse advent calendar then please send any item into school and your child can fill one of the pockets. Once the calendar is full we will then donate the items to our local foodbank.

We thank you for your support.
